loss diet
is a special diet that is developed for people who have diabetes. It is
designed to meet specific requirements and contains of a mix of
glycemic foods that balance out glucose levels in the body. In order to
avoid cardiovascular diseases and complications it is low on fats and
cholesterol. Diabetic weight loss diet contains of healthy food and is
an important and inevitable part of diabetes treatment.
This diet is calculated for each person individually based on lab test
results for glucose levels in the body and includes the same amount of
food to be taken every day and at approximately the same time. This
doesn’t mean that it is a substitute to medications. Even
though,
with a proper diet patient might be able to reduce the amount of
medications he is taking, but he will need an insulin injection every
day. People with diabetes need to consume starches, vegetables, fruits,
milk and yogurts as well as different porridges and cut down on fats
and junk food.
Besides healthy food, diabetic patient has to follow strict and healthy
regime. He has to sleep at least 8 hours a day, start every day with an
exercise, consume meals at least three times a day and try not to eat
after 6 p.m., and, of course, drink at least 2 liters of water, because
the body needs water and electrolytes. Also, it is a good idea to think
positive and everything will be great.
